The Department of Psychology at the University of Virginia invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Psychology, General Faculty, beginning August 2026.  We are seeking applicants with a license in Clinical Psychology. This is a three-year, tenure-ineligible appointment with the possibility but not the guarantee of renewal.

Responsibilities will include teaching three courses or their equivalent per semester, including classes in Abnormal Psychology and related undergraduate offerings. The applicant should also be prepared to provide graduate clinical training and supervision, and take on leadership roles in the psychology departments Mary Ainsworth in-house training clinic (these clinical training and leadership roles may be used to fulfill equivalent teaching requirements, as appropriate).
