The CSD program was established over 80 years ago as the first of its kind in the mid-Atlantic region and has maintained accreditation by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) for over 50 years. This vibrant program is dedicated to high quality training that prepares students for practice and research in a pluralistic society. Candidates with expertise in any area of speech language pathology are welcome to apply. Candidates with expertise in adult neurogenic communication disorders, speech and hearing science, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), or habilitative audiology are particularly encouraged to apply. This is a 9-month, salaried, tenure-eligible position with potential opportunities for future CSD program leadership and development.
